Best addition to stock R7 with premium sound?

Subject says it all.....if you could change one thing in this setup as the best "bang of your buck" what would it be? Here is what I have considered (in no particular order):

1. Tower speakers. I think I have really cooled on these because while we do water sports no one is dying to hear music pumped to them. For anchoring I already have transom speakers.
2. Replace existing speakers. Costly and overall I think they sound just fine.
3. Upgrade sub. This is the direction I'm currently leaning towards. There is a reputable installer on TRL that seems to think this will help alot. However, he's leaning towards using the cooler area underneath co-captain seat. Not sure how I feel about that. Also he said once this sub was setup and boxed, the 10" stock sub behind captain's seat would be completely worthless. It would be nice if I could simply replace the 10" with a 12" in the same space but I'm being told there is no room in that area to box in a 12" sub.

I'm to open ideas. I wont be personally performing any of this work myself. Would all go through dealer/installer.

Good question.....bass is certainly #1 thing that needs upgraded IMO. There isnt much punch at all. I guess in reality I'm asking if folks agree with me more than anything else. All while opening the door for other, potentially better, ideas.

Also, I'm a little concerned about taking up that space with a sub. Any concerns there? Under co-captain seat I mean.

I thought a lot of these marine subs are designed to be open air, so they don't need box enclosures like a car sub would. I've seen a lot of boats where they literally mount the subs anywhere they can find a flat 14" spot.

Not sure....installer said it would absolutely blow away the current sub. To the point of being irrelevant even if stays operational.

Yes they are open air. My 10 inch will kick hard enough to Make the whole boat rattle. I have a separate control for it and it's at half way 90%of the time. I think Im running 300 watts to it. I really don't need my boat to rattle apart worse then the waves can make it plus its mounted right in front of Mrs. BBP so I need to keep her happy.

Your/my boats are tiny. So your sub would only make the front of his boat rattle.

Personally I would get a grill on your swim platform or some rod holders on your tower

You have a great boat on a Great Lake. Purchase or replace what brings you joy. I would upgrade speakers prob
