I've dealt with my dealer for years.
Are they a white glove dealership?
Far from it.
They are more of a standard everyday meat and potatoes, blue collar marina without the flashy crap. After all, our season is short here.
Could the greatly improve their communication? Absolutely, but they are not snobs, just young guys who are probably working their tails off for a paycheck, and listening to rich man problems all day long...
I have no problem with them at all.
The shortcomings and complaints I have come directly from Cobalt, and the way they ignore issues. I am not impressed to the least bit with the few issues I've had.

That's good to hear, T.
We plan on visiting Snug Harbor Marina next year. They have yet to answer any of my emails. Maybe you would be able to introduce me to the "gang" so to speak.
Already looking forward to a Bemus point on the water floating stage concert and a Niagara River cruise with ya'

Haha, they are absolutely terrible at returning messages, returning e-mails, texts, or even responding that they’ve received your question. Terrible.. But, that’s who they are now, and they have always been that way. They mean well and deliver what they say.
Nice people, but that’s how it is there....

Re: Factory Tour Video
I can't stand that. My dealer is a lot Like T's. Blue collar. Awesome people. Everyone knows my name and greets me. Dropped her off the other day and Rick - guy who sold her to me and part owner with his brother - asked if he could buy her back yet! Treat people correctly and they'll do the same. No "old" boat BS with these guys.Ytmsn wrote: Fri Oct 27, 2017 2:33 pmAwesome, and glad for you. The few times I've been there I just kinda got a little bit of a bad impression. The first time was probably just the sales guy. I went in looking for a part and discovered the 7 year rule. Then he kept making a reference to "a boat that old" with a sour look like it was some sort of bad thing. It set with me wrong.Soonerfan wrote: Fri Oct 27, 2017 12:48 pmI have had no issues with the dealer so far. They have been very fair and responsive to deal with so yes it has been positive to this point. It is run by 2 brothers that have been there forever (not sure if they are owners or ?). As far as after the sale I have no experience with them but the seem very honest and straight forward so far. They have been at the same location for as long as I can remember.Ytmsn wrote: Fri Oct 27, 2017 10:24 am Sooner how has your experience been at our local dealer? I've only been in there a handful of times. Has it been overall positive?
Another time I asked about winterizing. $500 bucks to do the same thing everyone else charges $150/$200 for. When I asked what they do different to justify that price I got snobbed.
But again, it might just be the guys I run into. I met the owner one time and he seemed really nice and helpful and I really like him. So I was just wondering what its like to buy from them. Aren't they the only Cobalt dealer in the state?
Two years ago I pulled in to ask about a boat I had been watching in their used inventory for several months. The guy said they had just gotten it in. When I said it had been setting there for quite some time he scoffed and said I must be looking at the wrong boat. Okay, whatever.. I made an offer based on what they were bringing and he acted like I had just insulted his sister. I just shrugged and left. That same boat is still setting in the same place.
So, again, I'm glad they are taking care of you!
