2021 R5 Price

Looking at a used 2021 R5 with 103 hours. Merc 6,2L 350hp engine. Good additional options. Boat is in excellent condition. Kept on lift in boat house. Warm winter storage. Took it for a test drive in fairly choppy water, 3 people 1/2 tank of gas. Rode great had it up to 50mph with some engine to spare. Dealer is asking $105000 (includes trailer). Opinions on price?

Not a bad price. I bet you can negotiate for under $100k with that engine package....or at least negotiate future oil and drive service plus winterization if needed.

Options add up quickly - Surf, tower, audio, tabs, heater, yada - but that sounds like a good price. In comparison, a new 2023 non-Surf R6 with trailer and a decent amount of options will be 2x+ that price. A similar 2021 R5 (non-surf, tower, trailer, hours, yada) on Boat Trader has an asking of $117k (2021 Cobalt R5). The trailer alone is ~ $8k - $10k, so the boat alone is ~ $95k for the boat you're looking at. Maybe offer $95k for the full package and see what they counter with?
