Not sure which brand I'm going with yet, but this is what I'm doing in spring.

Those of you guys that have gone with the adhesive stuff. Have you had issues due to the non skid? The dealer told me not to bother with it because it wouldn’t last over the nonskid more then 2-3 years before the edges were coming up.

I like it! I like that the lines on the pad are horizontal on this...most pics I've seen are the vertical and for some reason I like the look of this on the swim deck, especially with that logo!

I really wish I had the grey interior so I could do the grey flooring...just looks sharp to me.

Bummed no one has done this yet, I'll research more during the off season!!!

I know what your saying. But with new flooring you don't have to use there snaps. You can redo it around that storage door. I would. You can fill in the holes in the floor. It's not that hard.
Yeah that is definitely the way we will go....you would have to with the glue down mat...wouldn't be able to access the storage if a mat was glued down over the doors.

Tuscany wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2017 7:51 pm Seadek looks awesome, but my dealer turned me away from ordering it on the swim step. He claims it takes acetone to remove dirt and stains. It still looks freaking great on YT’s boat. Hard not to love it.
Company that I had quote our entire boat uses seadek and sells a cleaner for the mats called "boat juice" ...just like everything else there is a special cleaner just for that product!

I'm going to be replacing the pad on my 262. I'm not sure if I'm going to replace both decks with a different color or just the lower deck, it depends on the color samples they send me.

Here's a YouTube video on how to remove it. It looks relatively simple.

I have seadek flooring in my 263. All of the snaps were removed. Hands down the best thing you can do to the interior of your boat. Cleaning is a breeze and I have never stained it. The wetter it gets the more traction it gets. If anyone would like the factory seadek blue prints for the flooring for their 263 just let me know.

When you pulled out the snaps what did you use to seal it back up? 4200?

You can get white gel coat in a small tube. Or I'm sure 4200 would work.
Whipple did you choose to run the lines across the boat instead of with it? Do you have other pictures of the cockpit? Did you have to send them a template?

As you can see the lines go across the boat. Yes a template has to be sent to them. The hard work is done tho. I have the blue prints from seadek. If anyone would like them I can mail them to you so you can have the flooring made. Once your finished with them just mail them back to me. Guys I also have all of the factory carpet in BRAND NEW condition if any one is interested. Remove the snaps and seal the holes with just about any waterproof sealant.

The swim platform is also done. Guys I cant stress enough how safe this makes the swim deck. This is a must in my eyes. Even if you don't do the entire cockpit do the swim deck
