Now that's a motorcycle gang, Ytmsn! :D

Btw, here is a November Pic I took of one of our planes on the ramp yesterday. The nose art shows a 1958 Corvette appropriately named "'58 Fuelie" which is painted on the nose of this KC-135 refueler. Posted an interior cockpit pic as well.

Very cool guys :-)
It's Grandpa time. I have Adalyn she's 8 she's the one standing and I surprised her with a old school friend. And Max is downstairs with her brother. Wife is gone on a girls weekend out. Yea :-)

Cockpit looks like it has been updated since I last saw one. Love the nose art, let's see more.

Yes, great observation, Bfun220....it's been updated to a "block 45" modification. Don't want to hijack the thread but here is one more showing a partial view of the overhead panel with the new mod:

Yes it is!
Runs directly off the battery so if we lose ALL navigation and flight reference instruments, we still have that little standby attitude indicator and a whiskey compass as backups. (believe it or not, I actually had that happen once over the Pacific).

Aslan I have a question. How come they don't make airplanes out of the same material the "black box" is made of? Seems like that thing always survives a crash, and it would just make more sense?

What ever they are currently using seems to be doing the trick.. I can't believe the wings take the abuse that take under normal take off and landing, and in turbulence ?🙈😳.

Look at the new Boeing 787 or the new AB A-350. That 350 is simply graceful sitting still...anyway...
They are using composite materials. resin wings to trust? 😱
My guess is that we'll be seeing more of that..
