Looking around the internet for swim platform mats for my recently purchased 2013 R5 -- looks like there are options. Does anyone have advice for the best place to buy them and whether I can install them myself (vs. paying my overpriced boat dealer to do it)? How difficult is the installation?
Thanks - first boat and learning fast but ecstatic with our choice of Cobalt.

Re: 2013 R5 Swim Platform Mats
I've a 2014 R5 and looking as well. From what I've gathered, GatorStep (vs. SeaDek) makes the most sense for me. Unfortunately in the DC area no local installers. A template is available for a 2015 R5 Surf - unknown if it is the same swim platform for 2013 & 2014 non-surf models? Assume it is the same?

Re: 2013 R5 Swim Platform Mats
Recently I installed Aqua Marine Deck just on my swim
Platform on my 23’ R6. You can see it turned out rather Nice. Light grey with diamond pattern.
They had the template for a 22’ r6 but I called customer service to confirm it would fit mine and they were super helpful. No fitting appointments, no templates needed, no measuring necessary. They were confident it would fit and it did. 4 weeks from order date to delivery and that was peak season this year.
It looks like they do have a 16-19 r5 which isn’t your year but I think the platform itself is unchanged between model years so if you order the platform kit you may be okay, but obviously I would call customer service to double check.
