Let us know how the new Merc works out.
I got the Marker One in the water two weeks ago and now have 23 hours on the new 350 Verado V10. The motor is a fantastic match for the boat and everything is better compared to the old 2016 Verado 350 inline 6 cylinder. It’s much quieter at all rpms and the large 4 blade prop is more efficient and makes docking/low speed handling easier. I’m not getting any cavitation when making sharp turns when pulling tubers so I can maintain higher speeds when cornering. It planes at 2,500 rpm and so far I’m seeing about 12% better fuel economy but I’m now also able to run 87 octane and achieve the full rated hp it’s a lot cheaper to run at $3.15/gallon to fill my 300 gallon skid tank two weeks ago. As much as we use it, I’ll see over $1,000 in fuel saving each summer over the old motor.
.
now that's great feedback. Love the pics too!
Thank you for the follow up.
