Blue tooth not consistently working 2020 23 SC

Post by BBBri »

My second issue that has popped up is that my bluetooth frequently doesn't connect for quite some time, and when it finally does, it will dis-connect after a few minutes. Sometimes the screen on my dash goes blank - like it automatically turned of - and sometimes there is a "Warning Low Voltage" message that comes up. Any idea how to fix or to identify what is happening? Bluetooth usage/connect was no problem for the first 3 years...

Thank you for any help.

Assuming it's not something so simple as a failing battery, I'd be checking to see if my head unit has an external Bluetooth antenna that may have become disconnected. If that's not it, try another smartphone and see if you can determine for sure that it's the head unit and not the device connecting to it. If power's good and you know it's not the connecting device, then you can look at whether/how to fix the head unit.
