New to MO, 2002 262 8.1 gi
Evening all, introducing myself and my new to me 2002 262 8.1 gi Cobalt. This is my first cobalt and so far I couldn’t be more excited to make many family memories enjoying this boat. I’ve historically had aluminum boats, a small bow rider, and 21’ skeeter but my wife talked me into this step up. She didn’t have to twist my arm much after test driving a couple 262’s I was on the hunt and happy to find this really clean example which I happily pulled home.

What lake are you going to be boating at?
Re: New to MO, 2002 262 8.1 gi
Thank you all. We generally hit up Stockton for day trips or Beaver in NW Arkansas. We are about an 1-2 hours drive from several great bodies of water and like to bounce around… Stockton, Beaver, TRL, Grand

I'm a Stockton Lake guy myself. Occasionally TRL. Welcome aboard. Beautiful 262.

If we lived that close to so many great lakes, I would have bought a trailer instead of a lift. We went to Branson last weekend to see some shows, I missed a whole weekend of boating.Ol’M@cD wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 10:10 pm Thank you all. Hi Ol'M@cD.
Nice looking boat for sure! We go to those lakes on occasion as well. Just got back from a 4 day trip to Grand Lake O'The Cherokees (annual trip) and actually heading to Stockton next weekend (8-17). Hope to see you out there! We're in the blue 242 with a tower.
