Lift bunk?

Post by Anchor86 »

Setting up lift bunks for my R7. The photo is from my trailer. Should I try to match up with one of these? Currently my lift bunks, as set for old Searay , , would be dead center between the 2 trailer bunks.

I doubt it would hurt for your boat to sit on a lift with the bunks placed between what you have shown, but I would give a call to your local Cobalt dealer to be certain. They should know if the boats weight can be supported anywhere along the bottom or not. I would imagine that different brands of trailers may have bunks that sit in different spots along the bottom of any given boat, so it shouldn't be a concern. Juts give them a call to know for sure.

Thanks,
Boat is on lift with bunks set previously which is dead center between my trailer bunks. I have about 4” of clearance between hull and lift beam, so I could widen the bunks a couple inches if that would matter .
