New here and looking at a 2001 190 with 430 hrs. The upholstery is good except the flip-up engine cover/dog house vinyl. It’s cracked in several places. Does anyone know if you can get pre-made “skins” from Cobalt to recover the engine house? Or…. can anyone speak to taking this whole engine house to a shop to be re-upholstered?
Thanks in advance for any help, C
Engine house skin or vinyl replacement
Re: Engine house skin or vinyl replacement
They do provide seat skins replacements, I ordered a complete set for our boat in anticipation that they become unavailable. Cobalt only supports replacement parts for 5 -7 years so unfortunately it may not be available. I called Tom from Gordys marine who helped me with the skins. Check with him and he will let you know if it’s available.

.
So glad you found us crispy.
We used a local Amish family to do the work after we sourced the vinyl from Cobalt in Neodesha.
Welcome aboard mate.
