Cobalt 200 (2005) replacement Windshield frame and glass

I have a 2005 200. The windshield frame and glass were crushed by our boathouse in a recent flood here in NC. The boat was pushed up into the rafters. We spoke with a local cobalt dealer, and it appears that the windshield frame and glass are not made any more for that year and model. I am on the hunt for a used one. I have found an older 190 and an older 220 with good wind shields. By any chance would a windshield and frame from a 190 or 220 fit our 200? I am not able to find any dimensions online to see if it might work.

Very sorry to hear about your windshield frame. a few of the 190 guys may chime in with the dimensions for ya'. Any pics of this damage?

That's going to be a tough find. I think a company called Taylor Made made the glass and frames, but I don't know whether they would be able to help you repair extensive damage on an older boat. Check out https://www.taylormadeproducts.com/hardware/

Check boat junk yards. There are some in NC. Also check repair shops. They sometimes have junkers laying around.

You need the windshield dimensions. There's a method for measuring available online.

Thanks, I did contact Taylor Made about the glass and frame. Unfortunately, the rep that contacted me back said they only go back about 7 years.

Kate's advice is likely the best then - seek out boat junkyards for places that have a Cobalt 200. It looks like it was only made from 2003-2006, so it may take some digging.

This is far from you and it is for a 1994 220 but the windshield looks similar. Maybe it would fit? not sure.

I am in NC also and our boat was involved in the same flood. Our boat is a Cobalt year 2000 model 226. Our windshield was crushed also and our local person told us the same thing. We are trying to find a replacement and need measurements.
