Thought I would throw this out there. Late last year I noticed a hairline fiberglass fracture at the base of my right tower AND at the bottom left of my wind divider so I notified the dealership who notified Cobalt and after about 3 months my boat was returned to me. Fast forward to this past Sunday while hosing out the boat, I noticed the cracks were back!! Needless to say, I was/am furious!!
Question: has anyone encountered this with Cobalt?? I purchased this boat brand new in 2020 and it was my pride and joy but now I'm thinking Cobalt isn't what I imagined them to be. Looks like I'm back to square one!!
Does anyone have a good contact at Cobalt? I want to write their CEO or someone in Quality Control about my issues.
Thank you!

So glad you found us K11 and sorry to hear about those cracks. Others here have experienced that issue and I'm sure if you search the site you will find some good information.
Any pics of the cracks?
And welcome aboard mate.

We had cracks on our 22 near the tower. We took delivery feb of 22 noticed the spider cracks in sept of 22. They were fixed early 23. Have had no issues since. I usually get a new boat every 4 or 5 years. They have all been cobalts never looked at other brands. When it's time for our next boat, I'll defiantly give other brands a closer look. Leaning Towards Nautique.
Hopefully someone at Cobalt will take a look at this post and provide some feedback whether it's directly to me or indirectly to this forum.
I am POSTING PICS coupled with my comments about my 2020 Cobalt CS232 purchased new at the Atlanta Boat Show. I cannot put into words how excited my wife and I were on this day as we shook hands with Singleton Marine and took delivery sometime in March 2020.
Fast forwarding to today, we have had our boat for almost six years and this boat has been in the fiberglass shop for 3 of the 5 years. Frankly, I don't think this is normal, especially from a boat manufacturer like Cobalt.
My original plan was to keep this boat for several more years but now I am considering selling because I've lost confidence in Cobalt. Is it a Quality Control issue at Cobalt? Was it just a bad day for my boat? I don't know but now I'm looking at options 1) Cobalt should "buy my boat" at a fair market value or 2) Cobalt should provide options including a heavily discounted new or used boat trade in. The inconvenience of putting my Cobalt in the shop every winter has worn me down so I'm looking for options and opinions.

Cobalt does not actively participate in this forum, and if you contact them they will almost certainly refer you to your local dealer. Cracks like that are typically repairable in the field, and won't require sending the boat back to Cobalt or a great deal of repair time.
