Looks like that was probably flush-mounted with Garmin's bracket https://www.garmin.com/en-AU/p/51792/ but they don't provide a printable flush mount template that I can find. Best bet is probably to remove the current 640 unit (using the instructions in the link above if needed) and find your hole size, and find a current model that's big enough to fill the hole but not so big that it won't fit in the dash space available.

The smallest GPSMAP unit from Garmin is now a 7", which may be too large - see the 743, for example - https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/799210/

Something more similar in size might be an Echomap 5" (or maybe 6") screen model, like the UHD2 - see this, for example - https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/796385/

I bet Technografix could easily build a custom dash panel for you to fit whatever unit you choose (they were the OEM panel supplier, IIRC).

I had a different one of Cobalt's original dash panel manufacturers make a new panel to accommodate a rectangular stereo remote instead of the round Sony one from the factory, and it was well worth making it look like a factory-quality install. Please keep us posted on how it goes!

I definetly will. Looks like it will be the EchoMap UHD2 6sv with the Tecnografic dask panel to fit.
