Wave Shape

Post by barnettsl »

2026 R6 Surf Owner----Struggling to develop a longer wave despite changing amount in ballast tanks. Now running with 100% in the central tank and between 50%-100% in the port and starboard tanks. Tried speeding up (11.6-11.8 MPH) but this is almost too fast for the surfer.

Any recommendations on how I can length the wave? Surfers are constantly getting close to the swim step and freak out!

How many people are you riding with usually? When riding with my wife and 2 small kids, we're surfing the left side and doing nearly 100% in port, 100% middle tanks and roughly 75% in the starboard tank. starts as a steep wave. To mellow it out, we've added a little more speed @ around 11.1 to 11.3 and getting the trim to -3 to -5 it does lengthen out a bit.
