I finally joined the club with a 2003 282. This boat is a dream. I do have questions about the bimini canvas and how it should be collapsed for storage/trailering. Does it fold forward? What do you do with the extension on the aft?

I don't have the same boat, but I've always taken the bimini down completely to trailer/store it. I'd review pages 59-60 of the manual linked here, and see if that makes sense in view of how your boat is configured - https://www.cobaltboats.com/sites/site. ... manual.pdf
