Trim tab question.

Post by Tuscany »

I forgot to ask my dealer..
On my dash, the right side button controls the left side tab, and obviously the left controls the right.
If this normal wiring. Or is it backwards?
Thanks.

Because most trim tabswitches are labeled " Bow down "

Right switch works left tab which in turn pushes the right front bow down..

Brilliant confusion!!

Yup.
It can get confusing, but she is wired, operating, and displaying correctly, T. The new Bennett tabs I had installed in September are the same way. Confirmed with the dealer as well.

I've never drove a boat with tabs. I've never heard anyone ask that question so that's good to know if I ever grow up.lol

🤣🤣BB...
I’ll tell you what, I’ll never own another boat without them.
Forget leveling, it’s the ride control in the chop that amazes me.

Thanks guys!

10 times at least!
My daughter had never seen it. Loved the part near the end of the movie where Dan Akroyd is on the bus as Santa eating that stolen salmon which is caught in his beard
