I lived in Florida for a couple years during undergraduate and saw this happen on the regular. This certainly does not describe the entire population but I used to say there’s a reason they film cops there!

The one I saw the most was 2 am people clothes shopping with their kids in Walmart and getting into fights like no big deal. I wasn’t a drinker in school so I would be the sober ride/security for my friends that wanted late night munchies

Every time we visit Disney, my son and I marvel at the news. The 6 o’clock news portion in Orlando takes up 25 minutes of rapes, murders, child molestations and simply crazy stuff every night, leaving just 2 minutes for weather and sports.

The last time we were there, some guy set his father on fire because he was in “pain”.
Florida is a Jerry Springer show.
