Ouch. Glad no damage done. Better sand then rocks. Yep first instinct is to pull back but we boat in shallow all the time so yep stay on plane. Also helps when you can't see the bottom in two feet of water.lol
Lol I was watching the bottom get clearer and clearer and just freaked. I think the skeg was just barely in the sand after I trailered the drive, it was really easy to push it off. Water came about halfway up my thighs when I got in, good thing it wasn't any higher or I'd be talking a few octaves higher

I had long basketball warmup type pants on, made wifey put the camera phone away since I had to strip down to get in. She got a pic before that, I'll get it from her and post.
Ran the boat wide open later in the day and it stayed under 175 and still ran 59 so she's all good

might need a paint touch-up but no big deal there.
