One of the site sponsors on THT chimed in and recommended these. They are designed for oil bath hubs but I think will accomplish what I am trying to do. Ordered a set of 4 for about the same price a second pair of Bearing Buddys with bras would have run. They look tall, might not be able to get the end cap back on the wheel center caps/

If you read it and you understand what he's talking about. It's time to put down the Jamison. Lol
Or... If you read it and understand what he's talking about, you've been reading "BB speak" for a LOOOOONG time now.

I have another favorite of his I might have to dig out.

Got the new grease caps in earlier this week. They look nice, thick aluminum with clear plastic thread-on caps. I think they are meant for oil bath hubs but hopefully will work well for this also. The thread on caps have o rings to seal up too.

I posted these pics in my consolidated thread, posting again to close the loop on this thread. New caps have been on for a few weeks and a handful of dunks on the lake. I can see the grease now which is awesome, and it still looks good :)

I like how they look too! Matches the blue calipers as well. Impressive.

All these projects you've completed makes me jealous. Need to get the boat out to start workin' on her! Cmon springtime!!!
