As far as the 190, did you just mean the small area behind the rear sundeck?
Yup. The mini-step.
I would say that would be perfect for that small deck on the 190, Liquid. Especially with kids...I was always worried about my young nieces and nephews slipping as the climb up the ladder only to jump off again. SeaDek would help the slip issue. Would be an easy install too.
Really easy. I was thinking the same thing. Hmmm. can you link me up?

Ytmsn wrote: Wed Jan 24, 2018 11:06 am I have the same thought Thunder. In my 240 I didn't have carpet and it was nice to be able to squirt Starbright deck wash on it, swab with a longhandle stiff brush, and wash it out with a hose. Presto, a brilliant white floor.

Now with my 262 (that has new carpet) what to do? With bare floors I saw how nasty everything gets even as fanatical as I am about keeping it clean. But I like the look and feel of carpet...

Knowing how nasty the carpet MUST be after a season I think for the next few years I'll take it out maybe around the 4th for a good cleaning with a power washer, and again at the end of the season.

I got my order in from Aquamarine the other day for the swimdecks. I also went ahead and got the pieces that go into the walkthrough and step down. I'm just waiting for a good weekend to install everything.

My only regret is I wish the Cobalt logo was larger and placed closer to the bottom instead of the middle. On the 262 the upper deck covers the extended deck just a bit. Ah well..

I thought about buying this for my range until some idiot paid crazy money for it! And I thought it was funny, the guy standing there in the same position.

We are using these guys: https://scwake.com

So far pretty easy to deal with. Give them a call, assuming they dont have a template on file for a 190, first step will be to send you the template kit which will be about $20. Once you send them the completeated template they will be able to get you a cost on the deck pad.

.
I will most likely use the aquamarine link mentioned earlier.

I know it's a matter of taste, but I prefer the "teak look" with the teak lines running bow to stern (vs horizontally.)

Not sure if we listed the seaDek link. Here it is as another option....

NautiGirl wrote: Wed Jan 24, 2018 8:15 am I said snap in because

a) we could use the current carpet to template
b) we wouldn't have to drill out and fill the resulting holes for the current snaps

The wife said adhesive.

So we will go adhesive.
A wise decision no doubt.

I would think you could choose the direction of the teak lines. I think all they do is cut your template from sheet stock.

Yeah they do all kinds of custom stuff. Heck, mine was kinda custom too, normally there are holes for the swim ladder. Easy redesign on their part.

Seadek is finally getting installed tomorrow...any tips or things you wished you had done differently as far as the install goes?

I'm in charge of this task (Jeff says this falls in the "arts and crafts" area and that's not his thing). I've watched the videos and think I'm good but wanted to see if anyone had any good tips since there is not "do over" with this stuff.

I am jealous Nauti. My order is in, after 2 dry fits and won’t be delivered until the end of July. Be sure and share how your install goes. I am hoping to learn. 🤓
