Ya
I’m not a fan of the 2008 & beyond 262 series either. They became bloated. Still good looking...but not the same as the original 8 year run series from the 2000 era.

Reminds me of what happened to the 60’s muscle cars when they first came out. Sexy and fast. Then motor city started to bog them down with too much design change.

At least Cobalt never went the direction of underpowering their boats.

Hey Table Rockin I was actually looking at that same boat but ended up with a 262. Curious as I am also on table rock. Where do you keep your current boat? I'll be at the harbor this summer

Holy shit, I'm also at the harbor! We just moved into that new dock they built last year. What dock are you on? Do you have a place down there? We are at The Landing at Eagles Nest.

The one they built last fall? Dock I? I will be in slip 4 on dock I as soon as the weather will allow it. They are putting in a boat floater 6600lb lift for me as well. I have a place at Treehouse. I also looked in Eagles Nest as well when I was condo hunting! Small world

Wow thats cool tgrace. Yep dock I. Dont recall slip number but we are about half way down on the left facing south. Small world indeed!
Ok...so this is curious...your installing a 6600lbs lift for a 5500lbs boat? Huh....Phil told you no problems with that? In that case maybe im ok.

I like your thinking! That A28 is very pretty.

And if you don't like the custom graphics, they're vinyl and easily removed.

Well mine is a 2002 so dry weight is 4700lbs. I would assume loaded up with gas and gear I'd be in about that 5500lb range. Guy I bought mine off of at LOTO's had it on a 6500lb lift and it lifted the boat completely out of the water. Outdrive and everything.

Well hopefully I will see you down there this spring/summer. I'm the second slip on the right. I have pictures of it in the new member section.

Ok so yea your good on your boat weight/lift combo. Damn where did these extra lbs come from on these newer styles?

I would think we'll run into each other. Just checked out your pics in the other forum. Very nice.

The Harbor is a nice Marina from what little experience I have. And it is nice that they are a cobalt dealer.

Fun Fact....and maybe you guys already knew this but the 2012 276 is the same hull as the older model 262s. The 2013 262 apparently is a bigger hull with more freeboard. I would have thought the opposite. Now I got this from the selling dealer on the 262 but hey, why would he lie? :)

but I dont understand how the LOA on the 276 is the same as the 262 considering the 262 LOA includes the swim platform that slides into the hull?

BTW YT, saw your ad on Boat Trader. You get any hits? trying to gauge value for my boat when negotiating a trade in vs. outright sale.

I'm getting a ton of them. I just need to get one snagged!
I was supposed to show it tomorrow afternoon but the guy called and cancelled. Everybody has the flu in his house but him. I told him to stay home!
