Only joking - about moving, not about when we will be boating.
Only place I'm envious of for weather is Florida...but they have hurricanes. I know I'm a warm weather snob...going to skip boating this weekend because it's too cold (below 80).
Damn, I hate that for you...how will you ever manage such terrible conditions?!?!?

We reach the 60s this week but we are in drowning in ALL the rain this week with more next week. Which mean in two weeks we could very well be freezing again. Gotta love Kentucky!

Just a note. Although the group seems very helpful and stayed mainly to your topic of conversation, that is usually not the case.

Other then John the admin. I am really the only sane member of this forum.

What a special boat you have coming. It will be great.
I think it's funny Driller always points this out. It just goes to show you about a Texan. I mean, really? How does he know John is sane?
John may not be sane, but he is the administrator. Always best to stay on his good side.

In addition, i only "occasionally" point this out, not "always". It's just good to remind you guys / gal every once in a while.

Then when I share my "Texan sage advice" it carries a little more weight.
Sane or not, I’m still waiting for my first opportunity to suspend or ban someone ;)

Never seen one in the pool...thankfully! BBP knows this, but for everyone else...my yard backs up to a nursery(scorpion breeding ground), so there are plenty of them coming over the wall. I bought a black light and some spray since we found a couple in the house. Went hunting in the backyard, got 56 kills in the first two nights. Would go out every 2-3 nights after that and get probably 5-10 each night. Haven't been out in awhile, I bet they have repopulated the yard.

Well that's unsettling...kill em all!!!!!!

If only this awesome gadget worked on scorpions...we love this thing...Jeff actually put this on our wedding registry and I thought it was the biggest waste of $50 bucks ever...I have since admitted I was wrong and we keep our kill marks on it with a sharpie marker! Flies don't stand a chance in our house!

Not here. I was stung once growing up. Not really a big deal...got it in the finger tip. Arm was numb the rest of the afternoon but fine the next day. My wife hates them. We had them in my house growing up so I'm kinda used to it.

Nauti, are you sure that wouldn't work on scorpions? That would be awesome!

BB, I don't catch them, just spray them and leave them behind :)

I've been stung by those stinking things several times. If I found 56 in my yard I'd want to puke.

And way to go BB! Nice way to hi-jack Marcus, Marcus's, Marcuses thread
