Spring is close!

Post by Ytmsn »

Last night all the frogs were singing in the woods and I could almost feel a warm breeze blowing though the trees. The moon was out and it was beautiful! This was right out my back door. Spring is close!

I love that warm breeze feeling. Were you there the whole weekend yt? Can't remember...does your lake freeze over at all?

I think I'm declaring tomorrow the start of spring here in AZ...upper 70s and low 80s are in sight, and it seems like we are finished with the overnight lows in the 40s. My favorite time of year is not far away, when we see 90s during the day and 60s at night. Hot days, cool (but not cold) nights....can't beat that :)

Way to piss on everyone's parade Thunder! I was all excited for spring because trout season started in Missouri on 3/1 which I usually mark as the first day of spring. even though sometimes we have snow in early March.

tgrace it's ok, while you are all enjoying a beautiful July and August we will be deep frying in 115 degree days and 90 degree nights. We get nice spring weather but we pay for it later.

That’s too cold for me Thunder. (Grin)

I’m the only one in my family who loves the heat. In fact-the hotter the better. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
(I know, I’m a heat freak).

It was weather heaven for me —with 125 degree days, & 100 degree nights in Saudi—-& 25 days before some tiny clouds finally appeared.
I had almost forgotten what they looked like so I remember taking a picture of them.

....the downside for me....it's very brown. :( Pic of our Air base...

Umm, that's not clouds A7. That's from suicide bombers...

Thunder we have ponds and tanks freeze over but the lake never does. Actually we never had any big snows this year because it was so dry. Snow usually hits us at least a couple times but this year we just got ice and sleet and not much of it.

Tgrace in Oklahoma they're ponds. In Texas they're tanks. And they do freeze over but I wouldn't dare walk out on one!

Saturday was a great day of boating! The water temp was a little cool for us southerners. 63 degrees. I feel summer knocking at our door!
