The lighting and RGB options are actually reasonable even at mark.. in that.. maybe because it's during the build.?
I like those options!

Heck, I'd be lucky to make it 4 years with it. I bought my 17 220S in August of 16. Traded for this at boat show 2018. Before the Cobalt I had a 14 Avalon Windjammer TriToon, and had that from May 14-August of 16. I don't have the best record of longevity. :D

Remember to cut at least 25% off option prices when you look at MSRP.

This is so bad of me...
But I'm going to toss it out there anyway.

Now if you are like me, the next thing to consider is moving up to an R7. This is a size that you might keep for years because it fits everyone. Toss out a couple options that you may not use, or are simply a nuisance to others, and you are almost there. Then again if you ar like me, you'll still add them anyway. :D🤣

A lot more leg room in a the bow. Enough to now stretch out with your legs straight. There's a big difference in bow space here.
Enough for three people to fit comfortably with the center filler.. probably four or five kids..
An extra 14" of port side seating parallel to the gunwale in the rear that now makes the table useable for adults to comfortably sit.. now you have a boat to entertain on with the right a,out of space. I won't mention the ride difference an extra couple of feet make. 🐳 Imagine taking that foot away in the picture..

My first thoughts were to buy an R5 also. Until of course I start doing the things that I do in my head. Once you realize that you are spending for a new boat, the amount to close the gap on an entirely different and larger hull isn't that much in the big picture..

Plus you gain a section behind the helm, where you could add a clean up sink, which we use all the time for washing hands, rinsing things.
If your dealer is feeling generous, you can get it done for about 16k.

I'll be honest. Reason I haven't looked at R7 is due to size of my covered slip. It's only 24'. So I'm already going up be exposed but going to add a 3' overhang extension to go with that. Other reason is lake we own our housefloat on is a relatively narrow small late so the R7 would be too large for our needs

I have the same trouble with my slip, squeezed the 242 (25’ and change) in there, but I can’t go bigger.

That said, my neighbor squeezed a 262 in the slip next to me.
