What a great trip that would be! Sure the weather patterns would be crucial , and He had a support crew sorta if failure occurred? Other than the guys that said...... " He'll ya I'm in ....and gonna take my jet ski "

I agree. This is honestly a good way to get hurt or kilt. Brand new R5, a jet boat and two skis... what???Skiingstrongman wrote: Tue Mar 20, 2018 11:21 am Good for him but I would never cross over to the Bahamas without engine redundancy. If anything ever went wrong things get hairy in a hurry down there and waiting for a tow leaves me uneasy.
His engine wasn’t even broken in yet. These are the guys that get the coast guard killed. Sorry to be a buzzkill.
Anyway Paradise Island is awesome. Go check out Atlantis if you can. Very cool aquarium.
sidenote - when I was there in the late 90's my brother and I rented jetskis from these guys. They had these 15K yamaha sleds. When asked where/how they got them - "we run to Miami at night in boats with 6-7 guys. run the coast and steal skis and ride them straight back to nassau!"

Yup. Re: Going to the Bahamas!!!!
Our boat doesn't have enough horses for BB... so he doesn't get the captains chair...he would hate it. I might let him push the Captains call button!

Actual photo of BBP stealing my boat...luckily the fuel pump died and the engine quit before he could get away.
