So anybody know what this panel is for or where it goes. I dont see anything missing a panel.

Also inspected the anchor and rope today. Guessing the anchor is 28lbs and it seems fine. I am not thrilled with the rope but it doesn't seem to be compromised, so we will keep it for now.

Also, I pulled out a couple of the carpeted wood cross braces on the horn side today. Going to re glue the carpet to the wood before re installing. Reason for pulling was to see if it might help me get to that dang horn.

That white board fits in back starboard side storage where the ski pilot is. I don't know its use.

Like mentioned above, that board allowed the user to have a sort of shelf option under the starboard swim pad hatch. It separated that storage compartment into a "top" and "bottom" option.

Not very useful really so Cobalt only offered this on the 2000 and 2001 260 series. They eliminated it starting in 2002.

My first thought was a cutting board, because I have a cutting board made of similar material, but Cobalt owners are not buying a fishing boat. I think AsLan7''s answer makes the most sense.

Just an update. Upholstery is still out. They have had it for a little over 2 weeks now. I was originally told that they like to turn around in about 2 weeks, so I am hopeful that it will be back soon. I guess it isn't a huge rush as it has done nothing but rain here in western Kentucky. Going to stop raining after today for this week but temps will be in the 50s.

Did check the oil via the dip stick a few days ago and it looks brand new. Betting they put new in when they winterized it. Looks super clean. So now I am debating on whether or not I should get it changed for the season or wait.

Still waiting on wet sounds to ship their stereo remote, so that I can get it installed on the swim platform also.

I've got a similar one on my boat. In the wet storage it has netting, mine sets in the bottom of the netting to make a hard bottom.

Did check the oil via the dip stick a few days ago and it looks brand new. Betting they put new in when they winterized it. Looks super clean. So now I am debating on whether or not I should get it changed for the season or wait.

Did they give you any service records where you can validate? Does it smell like fresh oil? If they stayed up on maintenance, it's usually standard practice to change fluids before putting into storage so any water that might be in the oil won't sit against the metal parts all winter long.

Terminator said. Most places change oil when they winterize it. I like using BG Moa additive as it sticks to the the metal pieces and protects it from premature wear.

With the radio install, I did also have him install a wet sounds rgb controller to control the light rings around my speakers and the lights in the speakers themselves. This is temporary for me, I think. My wet sounds radio is capable of doing that with a $500 module. I didn't want to spend the 500 at the time so I had him add the $100 stand alone controller.

I went with the standalone wet sounds controller, runs my speaker rings, gunwale, and underwater lights. As soon as I figure out how to convert my courtesy lights I'm hook them up also. You see it mounted to right of my stereo remote.

Yes, oil looks and smells fine. I can not get service records, the place I purchased from was going out of business. Owner retired.

Finally getting 7 days of sunshine here in western Ky. I am going to try to put her in the water for the first time Friday. TRY

I need to do some more cleaning after work this week and all of my interior is not finished. I was originally told about two weeks. This is going on 4 weeks. I let him know my plans for the weekend and he will try to have them completed this week.
