Man what a job,obviously well done. Now that you have a one of a kind you can tell eveyone that you did it yourself. Just don't put anybodys eye out when the buttons pop off your shirt......

I thought I had it high enough but lacked about 2 inches. Down (which took forever) and back up. Got it lined up and started the process of bolting it down.

That was by far the hardest part. Contort, wrench, go to the other side. I ran out of daylight so I quit. Still have the forks to bolt on and bimini to add. And some touch up work. But I think it's gonna turn out to be fine!20180324_200041.jpg

Got the forks and bimini on today. I still have to fix some gel coat chips and a really rough spot on the starboard side but it's coming together nicely.

Thanks y'all! The port side is definitely the "TV" side. The starboard side has some pretty significant damage. BB has been teaching me how to fix it in conversations we've had.

Besides this rough spot there are a few chips here and there that will be easy. After I work the BB magic it should look new again. There were dark marks all over it too, like what a piece of metal might make if rubbed against the gelcoat. I buffed it with Adams corrective polish and then with Adams finishing polish and it took all the marks off and gave it a brilliat shine.

Tgrace you may have already known this, but the bimini has a built-in boot cover. Just retract, pull the Velcro and zip it up! I had planned on having a new bimini made but after a power wash this one look new with no wear, tear or tatters!
I'm still taking it in next week for an alteration on the mooring cover and a rear bimini addition.
