Drill a hole on the side. Run it through that :-)
Can always add those really cool chrome electrical plug connectors to the side.
Just trying to help.

Is it done yet :-)

I was thinking on the bottom would be best. Should be fine with an outdoor rated outlet box from Home Depot right?

It's just like plugging into an extension cord. Mine is routed up under my backseat next to the perko switch

Don’t have a pic, but I had mine mounted on the wall of the transom walkthrough beside the stereo remote. Left a little slack so I can pull the plug thru and still open the engine cover with it plugged in.

Here's some pics of where the installers mounted my plug (I mounted the charger). Not really the location I would have chosen, but it works ok.

I like it. It can sneak out the walk through under the cover as opposed to over the side👍🏼 And out the back you'd see it all the time.

Yeah, that part is handy, run it inside the boat under the cover and pop out right next to my plug-in on the dock thru the side zippered opening. Makes for a tidy hookup, and keeps everything dry.

I like it. I may look at doing something similar.
