I'd document it with pics and your dealers written response. Wipe it out and run it. If it returns, bring it to their attention again before your warranty runs out. It's likely some residual from the engine build.
Put some hours on that sucker!

+1. Run it, watch it, and if it causes problems fix it under warranty. It doesn't seem to be a big deal to have a little stuff in the cooling system on a brand new build.

Exactly this. I would suck it out or wipe out. Keep it on the lift and run it then.

F2F, finally looked at my engine & can't see anything at all in the reservoir. I put a flashlight up against it & it was clear(yellowish).The level was right at the "min" mark. Let us know if you find out anything.

By the way, my engine is much older than yours. I have 14 hours on mine lol.

Thank you for the info! I looked at some on boattrader that had no signs either, that's why I'm frustrated. The boat I factory ordered has it, while none of the others I've seen do. I was simply told as of now it's nothing to worry about and I have documented the conversation. My boat has 4.5 hrs on it and the last new Ranger I bought had a leaking oil resivoir, what good luck I have. Going to clean it soon and go from there.

Got most of it out today, almost looks like someone got careless with grease. Looks as though someone used greased to put a hose on the heat exchanger, it's in the expansion tank only and none in the main resivoir. The fluid looks uncontaminated and that's the main reason VP said not to worry. It's kind of a pain having that resivoir didivided up into what looks to be three sections. Going to take the advice and put some hours on it.
