R5 mooring cover
R5 mooring cover
We are new to this forum and wondered if anyone knows of a good source for a mooring cover? Have a 2016 R5 with tower. Up to this year have kept the boat inside but just bought a slip. The lead time from the dealer is mid July. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, didn't realize there was that long of delay in shipping on those covers. I ordered mine with my boat. Wonderful design. I would only stay with the factory cover. Do you have the bow/cockpit covers already?

I’m also a big fan of OEM factory covers.
Where do you do your boating? Bigblockpower may have some leads for you when he responds.
Please post some pics of your R5 when you get the chance.....and feel free to start an intro thread if you have time. Love hearing how folks get into Cobalts.
Again, welcome aboard mate!

Welcome from Wisconsin. You can try and call bald mikes. But i would buy the factory one as well. One of the guys knows who makes them for Cobalt. Really only way to go

Re: R5 mooring cover
Yes we have the bow and cockpit cover. The slip we have gets a lot of southwest sun exposure so trying to save my arm from lots of work! Seems to be lots of covers for R3 and R7 just not the 5.Cycleman6 wrote: Mon May 28, 2018 8:21 pm Wow, didn't realize there was that long of delay in shipping on those covers. Re: R5 mooring cover
Can you elaborate on where you're seeing covers for R3's? My internet search hasn't turned much up.
Thanks
