I think Thunder550 ought to buy that & flip it....with his knowledge, he would have it in tip top shape up to speed ready to go in a day.

Flipping doesn't work as well when you put more into it than it's worth. I think I have a problem

I'm far from an expert on value of these boats, but personally I think you'd be lucky to get $25k for it in absolute perfect condition. I'd guess maybe $20-22k? This is where I struggle with mine, bought for $11k initially but have north of $25k into it including the trailer upgrades I've done, and I doubt that I'd be able to get that back out of it.

I bet you could have saved some if you just bought a new trailer.thunder550 wrote: Thu Jun 28, 2018 3:58 pm I'm far from an expert on value of these boats, but personally I think you'd be lucky to get $25k for it in absolute perfect condition. I drove to look at it today.
Needs/Issues
Canvas original, faded es nearing end of life
Snap in carpet original, hard and at end of life
Tear in narrow strip in front of rear seat
Tear in area between rear seat and sun deck
Trim up not working must use trailer up
Crack in water/air temp gauge
Steering loose
Front removable cushions starting to separate at seems
One major gel coat chip on nose on top deck
Radio basic but works ok
Woodgrain showing age
Trailer needs tires
Hatch motor slow and noisy
Dipstick showed a quart low but was not on level ground
Good
Desirable engine and drive
Normal wear, no signs of abuse
Trailer good, paint good with spare and cover
Overall gel shiny, recently buffed
Engine compartment clean
Sun deck recently recovered
Impeller new
New belts
Prop not perfect but good
No stress cracks

Sounds like it could be good, for the right price. I'll be interested to see if it moves.
