Is there a stock Cobalt option available?
I love LOVE the design. It goes up in literally seconds, folds flat to store, and made from heavy round stainless.
The key and most important part is that it is totally silent. Never a rattle no matter the conditions. The forward tubes have two threaded ends where you can turn the tube and torque down the entire structure.

Your top looks great but I don't think your swoopy, curvy style works on my squared off boat. There is no stock Cobalt option for a 33-year old boat.

I actually bought a really nice one made with heavy Sunbrella fabric. The frame is aluminum but it came with the rear support poles rather than straps. I like the top I was just concerned about the height but after all of y'all's input mine will work just fine.

Poles are the way to go. Mine don't rattle or appear stressed in any way. The trick with any aftermarket top is to make sure it pulls very tight. Or, if you have adjustable poles that you can tighten after clipping in. The bimini should be able to have a coin bounce off it when dropped. Otherwise, you will flap under WOT and that will wear it all out.
