Plaque from Cobalt

Post by Cycleman6 »

Has anyone else received a build plaque from Cobalt? We received in mail today. Didn't get one of these on prior Cobalt we bought new, but this was a "Design your Dream" Don't know if this is something new? Where do you guys recommend mounting such plaque?

I bought mine used but it has one of these plaques mounted in the cockpit right behind the throttle.

Got mine...sitting on the workbench until (or if) I figure out where to put it. Funny. I got it several weeks prior to the boat shipping.

Yeah. I got one. I stuck it on the top of the gunwale as you enter the boat.
We also received a large Cobalt towel from their clothing site. Expect one of those also. Beautiful towel, but pure white.. sun tan lotion may wreck it. Very nice quality.

I bought my boat used but it had one in it from the original owner. They had it mounted on the front of the glove box but I have since removed it.

@tbully - that is just rude of Cobalt. What a tease!

Yep, I pondered changing my + wifes name so that it could have been built just for us too but she wouldn't go for it :D

Well, to be fair, I partially "designed and built" my new boat with the Cobaltchat crew in mind. I assume someone from this site will buy it someday! Hahaha!

I like it Katie! You should have a plaque made:

Jeff & Katie were Nauti here

Let the next owners ponder on that!

My plaque showed up a few weeks after taking delivery without warning....it's a nice touch. It's currently in the center console of my SUV simply because I can't decide where to put it. Do I put it where everyone sees it as they enter the boat, or do I put it discreetly so I know it's there when I'm driving, or do I be obnoxious and put it where no one can miss it.

Too many options, plus in all honesty, it reminds me of a bumper sticker (really nice, cool, bumper sticker) which I really don't care for, so at this point, it looks great sitting in the center console for now.

On a less interesting side note, ours states the same thing, but has only our last name.....
