Chariot / couch style tubes?

Post by thunder550 »

Anyone have a recommendation for one of these style tubes? I like the ones you can pull either direction, like a couch or like a chariot. 3 person capacity.

I have the Big Mabel 2 person.

Drawbacks- not very sporty. When you sling it across the wake it tends to catch an edge and flip. Size is huge and no way can be stowed onboard. My slip neighbor has the Super Mavel and it’s half again as big.

Pros- for younger tubers and their parents it is a great tube. They feel safe, and if you keep it in the wake they can ride all day. Takes very little arm strength to stay onboard.

 We looked at the big mable. Decided on the two person chariot warbird.

You will not be disappointed. In all our years of tubing, it has been voted the favorite by the kids I’ve taken for a ride.

It is designed extremely well...does not “catch” when going outside the wake like other tubes...can be used both ways.

Sportsstuff 2 person warbird chariot. Get it ASAP. :D 8-)
....and use a coupon code at Overtons. 3 person is also available.

Hmmm... It would need to roll up and stuff in the ski locker. Not possible, even deflated?

Does your 2 person deflate and stow? If so that might be the answer :)

I deflate and stow it, but I hate to do it every time when I am just changing tubes. Easier to hop over to the slip and change tubes. The Big Mabel is so big that it covers 1-1/2 times the sun deck on back. Super Mabel would definitely be a chore.

Thanks guys! A7, I ended up ordering your Warbird 2. Tons of good reviews on Amazon, looks like a great tube for kids since it's stable too. Amazon has them for $247. Should be here Friday :)

And 6 tubes A7? Wow!

Okay. I’ve needed a new tube all season so I just got the warbirds 3. Amazon Prime, naturally. Arrives Friday so the kids will be able to use it this weekend. 🙂

Awesome guys.
We’ve used quite a few different tubes over the last twenty years, This one is certainly one of the best. The Opod was another but it’s been discontinued. You will not be disappointed. 👌🏻
