Greetings all and thanks for all the info on this forum. Lifetime boater but I just got my first Cobalt a few weeks ago. We are on the Lake of The Ozarks every weekend and the 23’ Larson just wasn’t cutting it. We got an immaculate 2004 282 and couldn’t be happier. Looking forward to gaining more knowledge on this wonderful boat. New Soundsystem is going in this week so we’ll have Bluetooth this weekend.

That is a fantastic model that Cobalt produced. You’ll love it with twins.

If posting a picture from your phone , click on the “full editor and preview “ radio button next to the submit button to post a picture. Just select the attachments tab and then “add files. “

Welcome from California! Great boat pal besides the legendary 190 Cobalt it may be the best twin 28 foot boat in the world

.. we love ours and yes... it crushes waves with great speeds . 22 degrees bottom will let you cross oncoming qtr wake with ease.

Warm welcome indeed! Like tgrace I've been on LOTO many many times. Both my parents (divorced) have homes and boats down there. Also like tgrace, we boat on TRL so we're almost like neighbors! Pics man....pics!

I’m in Carthage Illinois during the week, about 200 miles from my boat! It’s the single 8.1 but after my time with the 5.7 in the Larson it feels great! The low end is really impressive. We have put 25 hours on it already and we are so impressed with the quality throughout. The new stereo is getting put in tomorrow so I’m looking forward to the weekend.
