Welcome from Oklahoma! That's really cool that we have a few international members on the site.

I've never seen a Cobalt that color and it's very interesting. My first car was a 1958 Chevy that color and I have liked it ever since. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say we would like more pictures! Glad to have you!

Sealord69 (that's such a cool vikingish screen name!) is that the color of the gelcoat or is that paint?

Thanks a lot for your posts and that you love my boat and color the same as I do.

Let me give you some background information that I found out after I bought this boat.

I bought the boat in September 2016, the boat has some scratches from using it the last 10 years.
After that I contacted Cobalt, US to ask for the gelcoat colors to repair it and they wrote me that my boat is white and black  .

So I tried to get more history information, because I had the fear, the boat has had a damage, no one told me about that during the negotiation.

But it came better than expected, because the first owner was the best friend of sales guy at cobalt distributor and it a little like a CHIP FOOSE story

The boat was sold in 2006 and was complete disassembled in the shipyard and the body gets this paint called BEIGE-COGNAC-METTALLIC and BEIGE.
After that, the boat was assembled again and they recognized that the original white upholstery does not fit to the new body color, so the upholstery have been renewed also. All this work doubles the price of the boat and the boat has been in the water the first time in 2008.

When I bought the boat I added the additional platform and the teak in the back, the teak on the front and on the standard platform was original or has been added during the customize process of the first owner. The additional platform is custom-made for me and ends directly in the water. That was my wish, because my son has a handicap and with the deep platform he is able to swim with us in the bays, that wasn´t possible with our old boat, because we had no chance, to bring him back in the boat after swimming.

For next year I will add the integrated thru hull front anchor.
