Well I am sure my fellow CCR members will like this. I had an unfortunate gas dock incident a few months ago. I was tied up with fenders but a big 40+ foot cruiser went plowing through as close to the no wake zone as he could get. Which sent me crashing into the dock as the wake came through. Putting a nice scratch on my bow see below.

Well good thing about being only a couple hours from the Cobalt factory you can find people that work for cobalt that do work on the side. So I had one of them patch it this weekend with factory CCR gel coat and like you can see from the pics it was like it was never there

Needless to say lesson learned and I now gas up somewhere else.

Out here if some breaks the 5mph.. no wake zone and causes damage . They are liable . I’m sure it’s the same where you are.

Yeah I unfortunately didn’t notice the scratch until I got back to my dock. Or else I would of chased him down.

Yeah guy that worked on my boat was awesome. He does all the fiberglass work on the hard tops for the r35’s

He use to work in their customer service department before doing warranty work repairing hulls that either blistered or had imperfections. Unfortunately that was the first thing Malibu cut in the purchase and pushes all that stuff on the dealers now.
