Re: Tower speakers
Anyone have any experience with a comparison between Wet Sounds tower speakers and Rockford Fosgates after owning both?

Re: Tower speakers
I also think it will have alot to do with your amp set up. What I will say these speakers are way heavier than I thought they would be. Not sure if RF has the horn center. I would think that's how they are getting the sound so far back. Also what is the frequency range between both and power handling. A7 I'm hoping the kids like the music back there. As we normally turn the music off during water sports. I'll have to have Max and the group get there tunes picked out. Lol. I remember you saying your team jams when doing water sports.

We certainly do! I can't remember a time when music was not playing while we were enjoying our boating activities. Hoping to install RF towers next year but was curious as to other's experience with them. I can say positively that if they are anything like the quality seen in the head unit/ remote/ & Subwoofer we just installed, then we are sure going to enjoy them.

A7 I love my RF towers. I no longer have to crank the stereo to hear music in the water. The volume in the boat is the exact same as in the water 30ft from the transom.

Well, that's great to hear, TG98! Refresh my memory again on what size speaker you got up there?tgrace98 wrote: Mon Oct 15, 2018 1:34 pmAsLan7 wrote: Mon Oct 15, 2018 1:15 pm.Big Block Power wrote: Mon Oct 15, 2018 12:46 pm I also think it will have alot to do with your amp set up. We are going to be able to control different zones (ie cabin, cockpit, and tower) through the head unit. Kids will love having the tunes blasted out to them.

I have 6.5's . If you are wanting the tuber/wakeboarder to be able to hear it while driving. I would probably go with 8's

Would love the 8's.....I just don't want folks hitting their heads on them. Then again, maybe I need to turn on the CC to route the engine noise thru the prop for them to hear the music back there.
