Not happy with my sub.
Will most likely change out the sony speakers in the spring.
Possible tower speakers.
A7 if you upgrade I love my JL M10 SG subs and M880 ETX with neons light upgrade for the towers!
.
Have I seen pics of this Gdane? Sounds like a sweet setup.
I did replace my sub with an RF 12. Much better. 👌🏻

.
A7 Will take some pics next time I'm at the lake.

IDK about the speaker covers. I agree with TGrace what will the covers look like in a few years? Also I asked at the boat show why Cobalt went with the covers. I was told Cobalt wanted to promote "Cobalt Audio" and not the manufactures that are behind the speaker covers. To some not a big deal to others isn't that what you are paying for the look and sounds from the premium speaker manufactures??

I have a 2017 220 with the premium upgrade. Head unit is rockford with JL marine amps JL speakers and sub. Sounds really good. The sony's on the back are there because other speakers sit too deep and will hit your engine exhaust when installed. When I ordered my boat I tried to get them to add JL's but they would not fit. Still bugs me.

Did anyone get the premium audio upgrade with transom speakers the rockford fosgate. I added and dealer installed, it was like 1800.00. I noticed they put sony speakers in the transom, and did not use marine amps just the standard fosgate ones. I questioned them and they said it was what cobalt says is the option. Kind of hard to believe sony speakers with all other audio fosgate. And non marine amps. Anyone know if that's a load of b.s. I priced the amps and just rear speakers and I can get the amps and speakers for 320.00. I know they change out the head unit and 3 other sets of speakers and kept all the original components. I think I got taken

How much too deep. What about just adding a 1/2 spacer? Or a led ring. That would bring it out.

The Sony speaker that gets installed is 2 inches deep vs JL speaker we all want that is 3 inches deep.

Looks like fusion makes a speaker that is just under 2 inches so I might go with that. Sony model is XSMP61
