O.k. My Johnson and I are not hanging by a thread anymore and getting better. So went out to the garage and did one side quick. I really like it. The bad is Cobalt didn't bring the black down all the way under this little body line so some white it's showing. I'm on with it though. I like the little chrome touch.

Not sure you will find a gold wreath if she liked that. They quit making that but some dealers may still have it. About $55
They Make chrome ones now for the replacement.

Can't be a whole lot worse than a garden hose colonoscopy tool shoved up the dumper. Like ytmsn said, they'll only need a couple inches of tube to go up there and get it..

Just another little upgrade I just did. Never had a issue before as my boat is garage kept. But it rained to the lake going on vacation and it rained at night on vacation. What I noticed is my rear swim deck wet storage filled up with water. I plug the drain because the moron engineer put the drain to the bilge instead of outside of the boat. I don't want all that water in my bilge. Also they have two fender holders in the bow and guess what they leak and get everything wet in the storage area behind the bow backrest compartment. So I ordered some d shape weatherstrip and installed that and that should help with that big issue. I was going to do the anchor storage I the bow but they have a big cut out in the front of it for the anchor line so I don't think it will help much plus they put a drain to the outside. Go figure.

We are getting thru hull exhaust with Captain's call option installed as well as Bennett Trim tabs to help with balancing deep vee w/ folks on the boat. Please forgive the mess as we have not been able to clean up this new purchase yet. It will eventually be spotless after the install and we are done working on it. These are the before pics:

Well, today's upgrade will be fixing the "Bayliner" quality door jamb on the bathroom door.
Suprising to me, the jamb is simply screwed in to the fiberglass with tiny wood style screws, and fell right off on the floor in front of a boatload of friends. The screws pulled right out of the fiberglass, so no screwing them back in.
I'll fix this myself, using a couple of self locking nuts on bolts.
