2ridge, she's beautiful! Ours should have the similar goofiness which I love..
I want two of these dogs, just so freakin cute..but we're going with our original plan of one.. Our Yorkies didn't get along that well. Our male was a bully to his sister. They fought over the same toy, even though we had two. Same with the food bowl. The competition was a PITA. I know this breed is different, but there is a small dog brain in that small dog head, and I don't want to chance it.
It might have just been a crazy Yorkie thing. We're hoping the Lab DNA will do its part, and maybe get a second in a year or two.
Our first dog, a Golden, was so kind.. He loved our first Yorkie.. When we got the second? Well, the golden was still patient and loving.
One year while strolling in the grape farm next to us, he found this newborn rabbit and brought it home. We found him with the rabbit between his paws, cleaning it like a momma...we found the nest and brought it back. Who knows what happened to the wild rabbit, but that was him... that guy wouldn't hurt a fly..
Jeff, are you softening up yet?

Re: Jeff, are you softening up yet?
Funny story about my golden.
He was inseparable from me. He was my first dog and my best friend..
“We” were out clearing trees from behind my house about 20 years ago, when I had a freak thing happen. He was safe and always behind me. I dropped a tree onto another as planned, but it literally bounced off it and to the right and on to a power line. It made a little pop..ok, a big pop
.. a very big, continual pop.and knocked out power to a few people.ok a lot of people.like 10,000 people..that story is for another time..anyway, as it happened, I looked to see where “tigger” was and if he was ok.. yeah, he was high-tailing it back to the house at 100 mph, and basically telling me “you are on your own with this one bud”

.
My wife said he busted the door open and kind of hung right with her like nothing happened...

Oh my God BB. you wouldn’t have believed it. The wires running at the rear of our property are one of three transmission lines to the north county. They look very normal, but I guess they carry almost 35K volts. The world turned blue, and went dark for most of the rural county because cutting our lines out overloaded the rest and they blew their fuse links.Big Block Power wrote: Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:14 pm That's funny T.
