Actually, a very nice looking truck. Buttttt, I’ll be waiting for the new Super Duty...

🤣🤣🤣

Haha, c'mon Liquid, aluminum doesn't rust!
Ive always had both, and usually at the same time. (Geez, that doesn't sound right).. let it go YT!🤣

I've always had two trucks. A GM gasser for the business that we used for winter and plowing.. you know, disposable.. and a Ford Diesel for me that I store from winter and trick out a little. I sold my last Super Duty right before the body change. It's getting replaced next spring when the 10 speed Powerstroke hits the road in 2020.
I'm still keeping the GMC.

I might be on the fence if GM would have comparable hp/tq numbers, but it looks like GM will sadly stand pat while Ford and Ram will be producing 100 lbs of torque advantage.. I am definitely not on the fence..

I had a 2013 F150 with the 5.0L engine. I enjoyed the ride and it got decent fuel economy.
However, here in S. Texas the water levels fluctuate so widely you never know what you are going to face at the boat ramps. I convinced myself I need 4 wheel drive. I traded for a 2016 F 150 4x4 with the 3.5L eco boost engine. The torque of the 3.5 shows to be greater than the 5.0 So far I have really enjoyed the truck. If all did was pull my 222 I would have considered a F250 but towing is less than 10% of the mileage I put on the truck.

Nice ride Mike!
Being from the frozen north, I can’t remember the last time I saw a 2 wheel drive truck of any kind on the road or on the lot.
Even if you don’t need it, a truck sure looks better as a 4x4.

Beautiful truck! I have the 3.5 in our Expedition and love it. Actually taking a half day today to replace the plugs and coil boots due to a misfire, but I'm 20k past the service life of the those parts so not surprised. Our expedition pulls the 252 without issue, though I still use my Superduty most of the time just to justify having it, lol.

I'm waiting on the new Sierra/Silverado 1500 diesel. I had a 2500 Cummins before and absolutely loved it. But, for a daily driver, it was too uncomfortable. Chevy released their MPG estimates for the 4x4 trim, can't beat getting 30 mpg on the highway! (without towing of course). Anyone else in the market for this new truck?
