Ok looking at that. It's a smaller eye welded into a larger pipe.
I would grab this and go from there. We just need to see the part that is at the bottom end. How does it lock in place.

Cobalt Brethren

First thanks to everyone for responding. I was pleasantly surprised on all the responses, because some of the other forums I have been on usually has zero responses on specific topics. Again thanks! As it relates to my quest for a ski pylon...I found a dealer who could order one for some serious $$$$$. I didnt ask where they are getting it from (because other dealers tried but came up empty) but they said it would be 4 to 5 weeks before I could get it. Kind of concerns me on spending that kind of cash in advance but after spending a week researching it dosent appear I have any options. Never would have thought this item would be so hard to find. Note: I appreciate the pictures and the suggested supplier which I called and was unsuccessful. If this dealer doesnt work out I may have to have one made which I think is possible but may need actual measurements / specs.
I will keep everyone posted with updates. Fingers crossed this dealer comes through. Regardless I am super happy to be a Cobalt owner. I have looked for years and either was too late or just couldnt justify the expense. The 262 I found literally looks brand new and was a 1 owner (kept inside). I am super excited !!!

How much do the want to order one? I only ask because it may be cheaper to have one fabbed up, which may be exactly what they are doing and adding their profit on top.

Wow, my little side business might have all sorts of opportunities. I'll pay round-trip shipping if someone can send me theirs to take measurements.. I might be able to put a quote together. Would love to know what the dealer price was that was considered really high to know if it's even worth it for me to explore. But if I made one, I'd probably make the swivel top style instead of the middle finger style... Just a lot easier to fab.

Quick update: I am still holding out hope that the said "dealer" comes through for me on a new pylon. Again they said it would be 4 to 6 weeks to get it. It is one state away so will probably do a road trip up there just to make sure its the right part. Spending this kind of money ....I want to make sure its correct.

Thanks to the others who offered to share measurements. I may take you up on the offer provided this doesnt pan out. Fingers crossed!!

Also, I don't see exactly what you're looking for, but I'd call these guys too if you haven't already: https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/boat- ... pylons?p=2

That's who I thought. I searched them this morning. Nothing. A7 do you have the picture of yours handy. Otherwise I could search here for it. I know it's posted somewhere on here.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I'm having the same problem for a 1990 202 Condurre. The 1" hole is there just nothing obvious about how the ski eye fixes below deck. Did you come up with a solution or anything obvious? Was it the threaded rod option in the last photo?
