Another Cobalt on Lake Tahoe......

[1995 Cobalt 220]

After admiring the beautiful Cobalts on Tahoe for many years, I took the plunge on a '95 220......It's now obvious to me why Cobalts are the most popular boats on the lake.

After 24 years and 959 hours, the boat remains in great shape!.. Currently cleaning vinyl and gelcoat and doing routine maintenance. "Sea trials" in 50 mph winds and whitecaps went well, looking forward to getting it on the buoy by Memorial Day......

Still looks great! I’ll always have a soft spot for Tahoe as we had a condo in King’s Beach for 11 years that gave us many amazing summer and winter family memories. We spent 4th of July week on the lake every year from 2007 through 2017. We sold it last April with our move to MN and traded it in our retirement summer lake home.

Never boated at Tahoe. Just for ski trips.

Our daughter goes to school in SF, so we figured we could all meet at Tahoe for a long weekend during the summer when it is too hot for Havasu.

Will need to read up on the inspection process.

Hey Inspector gadget. How did you see that. I missed it 5 times. I just thought that was like one of those outboard motor support rods used for trailering. Only this was new for a IO? It was smart thinking to make it go to the ski tow eye.

The "limp" trim was the first thing my master mechanic fixed. (can't say enough good things about Ward, at Award Quality Speed and Marine in Minden NV). Also ordered the travel clips...
