Yes I did. The boat was amazing. The 240 surprised the hell out of me with the hole shot. I didn't have a chance to get a picture of it in the water though. After our test drive it started raining and rained the entire next day also. Here is a picture of us taking delivery of it though.
I think a lot of the hole shot of the new Volvo motors is they can put shorter gearing in the drives due to the higher reving motor. This is now my second Volvo duo prop and my 6.2 has way more low end than my 8.1 had. And it is not even close. The major difference I see is my old 262 would get up close to 60mph. Where my new R7 tops out at low 50s. which would indicate shorter gearing in the drive.

And congrats on taking delivery! looking good standing next to that shiny new red boat :D
That would make sense. I did open it up once and with 5 people in the boat I got to 46. Still not bad at all.

And thank you very much.
No way you didn't do the wot. You just voided your warranty. Lol.
That's a sharp boat. Fireman by chance. Lol
You need to stand on the other side of the pacman arch though.
Congrats on getting her out.

Sorry I brought up the v6 thing. Thank goodness we don't have 4 cylinders anymore. Lol
We all get along very well here.
Mrs. Nauti and Mr. Nauti and the ugliest person in the world are always welcome on my boat.
I will say always respect the better halves on any interweb.

Glad to hear. Sorry to TTU for the threadjacking. Hopefully we can get back to the anticipation of some water shots of his new boat!

So happy for you! Beautiful boat. I bet you got a ton of compliments. These boats are real lookers. Dang 46 MPH already?? That is booking it. I was too scared to open for a long time (due to all this break in y’all) but I did a burst and I got it up to the mid 40’s pretty quick. Hopefully you get some good weather soon. I thought the stereo was great even with the factory “flat” eq. I haven’t even adjusted it.
I agree. The stereo really did surprise me. I think I am still going to add a 10 or 12 with two tower speakers also. Just needed a little more kick for me. If you don't mind me asking, why brand are the interior lights that you have. After seeing yours, it is a must that I install those also.

Haha just following the advice that some guy named bigblock gave me.

Cobalt installed those at the factory. I would add those, the transom lights, and the blue light underneath. Looks so awesome!

I had the interior RGB lights installed by my dealer. I had tried to find them myself as well but couldn't. My dealer told me they could order the parts but only if they installed the kit. Although I've learned my dealer doesn't seem to want to sell any parts that they don't install.

Were they rope lights that were installed? I found some by wet sound with a controller for around 200, but was curious what was “stock”.

Mine aren't rope lights. They're actual light bars.

I paid $2,100 for the factory kit. I'll admit they pulled a bit of a bait and switch on me in that they told me the kit was $1,350 but when I picked it up they told me I also owed $750 for installation. Plus tax. I pushed back but they refused to budge.
