Nope I used it on my stock one. But I think I might add a a fox Marine nema2000 Bluetooth unit instead. Plus if I add a chart plotter then I can send engine data to it.
The advantage I have with this software is its the same company that did the ecu upgrade so if I have issues with it they can see what is doing.

Thanks BB! I've always wondered about that. I have a bluetooth OBD-II scanner for my car, but I assumed that it won't work on the boat.

Pretty cool, I need to look into this. I got a report from the marina I bought mine at that shows all the MEFI 1 info, and like you the ECM showed about 80 hours less than the hour meter.

My hour meter runs w/ ignition on, motor off.......Ran up an hour while listening to music while shining her up......gonna use accessory position in the future......

I unplugged my meter to get it to match up with the ecu. I'll plug it back in next year. Once I get my boat back in the garage. Still won't fit but hey I'm trying

No I tell her nothing. Actually it was such a little tweak on the idle I can't tell on my analog guage. It does not have a smooth idle to begin with. I was just glad it idled. After the first start of the year and trying to find a iac position it had me worried a bit and with Akorns issues. But hey it didn't stall!!
The performance was awesome though. Do you have gi or gxi? It so far was worth the 350 bucks.

Great news! Looking forward to seeing how it performs when you have better conditions. I’m pulling my props this week to get the cup removed and see if I can get the rpms back. Mrs akor just doesn’t get that good isn’t good enough, lol.
