My wife wore a new pair of shorts on the boat this weekend and sat on the sun pad while we tooled around for a little while. When she got up, we noticed two blue patches where she was sitting from the shorts. I immediately tried using Boat Bling vinyl sauce to clean it, but no luck. It didn't make any difference. Does anyone have any experience with this and advice on how to remove the stain? I've read everything from bleach to no bleach to vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, soft scrub, rubbing alcohol, magic eraser, acetone...
Not sure what works, just don't want to damage the vinyl.

Re: Vinyl Stain Removal
Vinyl as it ages looses moisture, and thus becomes easily stained and difficult to clean. Things like damp dye colored fabrics towels etc transfer with ease.( especially when not pre washed.)
The trick i use is a Combo of heavy Cream vinyl moisturizer followed up with Bio- Kleen . Or super clean degreaser.
Re apply moisturizer then let the panel set in the sunlight for a day or two.
You may want to repeat the process but the sun is your friend when it comes to natural bleaching.

Re: Vinyl Stain Removal
Thanks, I'll give that a try. The vinyl on this boat is still in such good condition, I don't want to mess it up.

Yep use bio kleen amazing cleaner. It's got vyinl biting bacteria in it. Let it sit in the sun at least 24 hours. Let the sun bleach it only. Don't use bleach.
