I tried to mount a cantilever umbrella using the same deck mount but the stand has plastic threads. The cantilever umbrella will break the threads ... going to try a standard umbrella (force will be down)

Has anyone mounted a smoker on the swim platform? Here in Texas we use smokers instead of grills and I would loce to mount one on the swim deck. I could start the fire at the beginning of the trip and by the end of the day the brisket would be ready (assuming a 12 hr boat trip).

Driller I think we can mount that like we do with the Lilly Pads. We just have to strap it on. Makes it easier to clean under it. I like your thinking 😂👍

Mission, the people who make the strap on bumper (I ordered one to try), also make a floating dock that people stand on ...$1200?

Drill a hole in the floating dock and reinforce it, or better make a wishbone like at a trailer and you can tow it (no wind). The problem is rolling the smoker from the land to the floating dock (water displacement then is not distributed evenly...it will sink). Better off to have a crane and place the smoker in the middle in the the floating dock. Dam, if you have crane you might as well just put the smoker on the swim deck. Problem solved.

Just have slide make a trailer tow ball mount for the ski pole mount, put a couple small pontoons on the smoker and boom, Cobalt towing a smoker trailer.
