I am not a huge fan of the aftermarket archs on the 262.. but opinions differ. If you like it that is all that matters. I do love the factory arch that came on that boat.

I have to say I like the forward rake arches a lot. That arch looks nice. Not a unicorn, but easier to find.

I gotta say you get what you can get. Personally I would want this vs Fiberglas arch for water sports. But I do like the stainless steel one on this model better.

The irony is Samson’s arches for cobalt are beautiful...wish they made one a little more beautiful for non cobalt version

The Bimini set up has the ease and modern edge. But I enjoy the looks of the OEM version.

Funny, I saw this boat earlier today surfing around. I'm torn. I have a 2011 and it has bothered me that there aren't many after the hull change that have the forward raked arches. I have never really liked the rear raked ones, especially on the late model 262. I know many do, just not my thing personally. But for me, a forward raked arch looks great. There is a guy on the Cobalt fb page that just had Samson spec out an OEM version for a ton of cash, I think it was over 7k and put it on a 2012 I think. It had more of a tray on top, but was very similar to this one as far as the framework. For the one above, the panels on the side are okay looking, but I would rather them not be there similar to the look of the stainless arches for this model 262. I think if the lower base were full and covered, like the OEM versions that Cobalt uses, it would really be sharp. All of that being said, this arch does not look bad or necessarily out of place on this boat. I just like the simpler OEM styling better. Cobalt knows what they're doing, with the new A29 arch and cover aside, LOL.
